Natalie pushed open the heavy door to the training building. The training building consisted of 4 rooms. One large room that had bunks that were placed in two rows. The second room was the shower room, where the was only one knob because there was only cold water. The third room was the bathrooms, not that you would really call it a room, it was just 2 stalls with toilets in them. The last room was the comfortable trainers room. Air conditioning, computers, refridgerator, and the best of all, a nice cushy bed.
Last time the petite girl had been here she had broken her arm and been kicked out. She had pleaded numerous times for someone to heal her and let her go back. She let out a loud sigh, no they had said, that would have been against the rules. She envied the kids who were healers and could pretend that they had never been hurt seriously in the first place.
She knew that this time there would be a different trainer. She had heard something about Mr. Green getting attacked during the high-risk mission he had been on 2 months ago. She snorted, the old geezer deserved it, the way he had tortured all the kids who came through basic training.
She had come early, knowing that some of the mattresses were newer than the others, hoping to find the most comfortable one. She dragged her duffle bag to one of the bunks and started feeling the mattresses. After testing them all, she kicked her bag under the one that she deemed the most thick. She knew that the bag with all of its contents would probably be confiscated, but she was willing to risk that the teacher was a know-nothing and might not. She also knew though, that if he did know she would be in big trouble and most likely, the others would to. She didn't care though, she had been through a month of basic training before. She knew that the teachers wanted to toughen you up, not kill you. The worst they could do was make you sleep outside or run the obstacle course twice. Unless, she thought, The knew trainer is a devil worse than Green." she shuddered, having seconds thoughts about bringing forbidden items into the training building. She looked around the room, hoping to find a spot perfect for hiding her treasures. Not seeing any, she glanced at her wristhingych, she had just enough time to run back to her room and get rid of her bag.
As she was starting move though, the door swung open, making her freeze in her tracks.
OoC; If you think the training building should look different, feel free to tell me and I'll edit. xD I just wanted some kind of discription so we could all be roleplaying in the same "place."

Valkyrie walked into the training room briskly, her soft leather boots making no sound on the floor. Her movements were quick but deadly silent and her gaze was sharp and quick. She could see fear in the girl's eyes and the tension in her muscles. Her eyes travelled to the bag the girl was holding. "May I inquire as to your name and the purpose of the bag you are carrying?" she said, her voice smooth but cool. Her reputation was one that was not to be crossed. She was strict, not one to abide with disruptors or rule breakers.

Lokai finally caught up to the woman who had been pointed out to him as Valkyrie. For a human walking at normal speeds this lady is fast. Lokai laughed to himself. Dr. K probably wouldn't like it if I were using abilities in front of the trainees. Lokai smoothed his suit before he entered, knowing that after today he would have no need for such an item in his combatives training facility. Lokai hardly dressed up as a necessity, he simply enjoyed looking good. The woman named Valkyrie was staring at an apparent recruit. What timing! Lokai thought with glee. I get to harass the trainees already! He walked up to the woman, trying to get a feel for her as he approached. "Excuse me, miss." Lokai set his hand on Valkyrie's shoulder. "I'll take it from here." He swiftly stepped in between the lady and to the side a slight amount. His eyes settled on the apparently nervous trainee. "What's in the bag? Need help with it?" Lokai stood straight faced, but his thoughts smiled well enough for him.

Natalie looked at Valkyrie then at Lokai, trying to decide who she should try to side with her, deciding on Lokai she smiled up at him, "Uhm, I brought a few change of clothes and somecommodities with me." she blinked her violet eyes, "Are they not allowed?" she asked in what she thought was a innocent voice, "The last trainer let me keep a few things." she lied, glancing nervously at both adults, as she tried to sense their skills she prayed that neither of them were lie detectors. Letting out a small sigh, she smiled again, "So, may I keep it? Please." she added as an afterthought. It could never hurt to be polite.
She glanced around the room, hoping the other kids would arrive soon, taking the attention of the trainers. "Uhmm." she mumbled, trying to think of something to say, "So, there's two trainers this time?" she asked, trying to distract them, "Is Mr.Green coming back?"

Lokai shook his head as the girl opened her bag to him. "You know, I do like fashion myself. Why don't you open the bag and show me your clothes." Lokai suggested. "And all these cool commodities. I've never had much, so I'd like to see what a girl would bring to a training like this. We can't let those items go to waste, now can we?" Lokai smiled wide, waiting to see the girls reaction. "What's your name, by the way?"

Natalie glared at Lokai, "Are you a perverted freak or something?" she asked, "Cause I'll report you to Dr. K, if you are. Asking to look through a girls clothes and items is very rude." she muttered, "I've never heard such a stupid thing before in my life." she fumed, knowing very well that Lokai was just trying to humiliate her in front of the other teacher. Also knowing that she couldn't disobey a teacher she pulled her underwear out from the bottom of the bag and flung them at Lokai's head, "There, that should make you happy." she snapped, dumping the rest of the contents on the floor. A box of candy bars, a hairbrush, a few changes of the standard uniform they were made to wear during school hours, and a cell phone. Natalie knew that she would be in the most trouble for bringing the last item in.

Lokai pulled the underwear off his head, examining the tiny pink spots on them. His grin turned to a smile. "I didn't catch your name, ms. trainee. You'll make sure to tell me before I leave, won't you? I'd hate to see you suffer any." Lokai's grin turned to a serene face. "I think you have wonderful taste in clothes. In fact, you gave me a great idea. The spotted underwear will be worn on your head for the first day of training as well. "Oh, and that phone." Lokai said, dropping the clothes. "Make sure it comes with you tomorrow." Lokai turned to leave the room and saw Valkyrie's placid face. He stopped, but didn't turn back towards his trainee. "And miss trainee, give that candy to Mrs. Valkyrie here. I think she'd appreciate it." Lokai continued to make his way out the door.

Tali Levin walked into the training building, an unreadable expression on her face. She wore her regular uniform and carried no bags, due to various warnings she'd received from her older brother, Noam, and his friends to not bring anything but the clothes on her back. She walked with hands stuffed into her pockets and gaze locked on the ground a couple yards in front of her. She knew this posture would likely get her into some sort of trouble, but she had trouble caring about much of anything anymore, especially what adults thought. They tended to take it easy on her, anyway, since her father had died, and she used it to her advantage.
As she walked into the room, she saw two adults and one trainee. She watched as one of the adults--a man--pulled a pair of underwear off of his head. This can't be good, Tali thought, biting her lip. She listened as the man spoke, glad she wasn't in the other girl's shoes. Hopefully, if she got into any sort of trouble, it would be running or something painful, not something completely and totally humiliating. Physical pain she could handle, but humiliation? Who knew what she would do if that happened? Her emotions were so unstable, there was every possibility of her blowing up at anyone who upset her, cussing or even resorting to physical means, or retreating within herself. The only thing she could be sure of was that she wouldn't cry--at least, not in front of anyone.

Natalie glared at Lokai and grabbed the underwear from his hand and pulled it over her head. Her pigtails sticking out on both sides. "My name's Natalie." she snapped at him, "I could report you for this, you know." threatened, knowing that all Dr. K would do was laugh his head off at her, if he was in a good mood. If he was in a bad mood, he'd probably punish her for talking back to a teacher and trying to sneak stuff into basic training. She sighed loudly, shoving an armful of candy at Valkyrie.
Out of the corner of her eye she say another girl walk in, "What are you staring at?" she asked, turning around sharply to face Tali, without waiting for a reply she continued, "You mean, you don't wear your underwear on your head just so you can sneak an extra pair in?" she said, trying to make the best of the humiliating event. Rolling her eyes she offered a hand, "I'm Natalie, you can call me Nat. I'm sure we've seen each other around." she said, "Hey, weren't you the kid who's dad died recently? I'm so sorry."

Any inclination Tali had to be friendly to this girl went away almost immediately. She stared at the proffered hand with an expression that very plainly read, You honestly expect me to shake that? She just stared at the girl, making very little movement and saying nothing, up until the mention of her father.
"What's it to you?" She snapped angrily, pushing her hands further into her pockets and scowling. Then, "Yeah, that's me. If you want to make a big deal out of it, then we can." At that, she pulled her hands out of her pockets and bunched them into fists. "I'm no wimp, and I don't need your pity. If you need me to prove it, then just say the word. Otherwise, stay out of my face." She glared at the girl, expression challenging her to push any further.

Natalie raised an eyebrow at the girl in front of her, "Uh, well, excuse me." she said, "I guess you never took the class on good manners." she said shaking her head, "You can stay out of my face as well." she said, plopping down on the bunk she had chosen earlier, "Ughhh, you'll never make it here, you know." she muttered, glancing up at Tali, "You're too emotional." Laying with her arms under her head she started at the ceiling, wishing they would have let her stay the first time. She could have passed even with a broken arm.

Lokai stepped back a step and whispered in Valkyrie's ear, "Since you're the female combatives instructor, I'll let you deal with the emotional situation." Knowing the appropriate time to back out of female problems. "Please come see me when you are finished here." He walked to the door and swiftly about-faced.<br> "Ladies, I'll see you all at our 0400 physical fitness fun in the morning. Sleep well and see what you can do about not killing each other. When you get done tomorrow you'll want all the friends you can muster." Lokai's serious face turned to sinister grin. "I'll be in my office if any of you need me."Lokai walked out the doors in a way that seemed to be a mix of boyish fun and military discipline (if that were possible). He walked to the back office where a nice couch awaited him and a bag needed unpacking for the next three months of training he would be doing with the munchkins Dr. K had rounded up.

Tali scowled. And I guess you never took the class on how to get your head out of your butt. She thought about saying this--wanted to, even--but the training instructor was right. She didn't need enemies in here; that would only make it more difficult. Still, she couldn't help but add in a final comment. "Whatever," she muttered under her breath. "We'll see who's talking when I pass and you have to retake it." If she had known that Natalie was already on her second time through, she could have come up with quite a few verbal jabs. She didn't, however, so she merely turned and made her way to a bunk about two beds down. She figured that if she were in the middle of the room rather than on the edge, she'd have more chance of making friends with the other trainees. At least, with the ones who weren't as big of butt holes as Natalie.

Valkyrie was sorely tempted to give a roll of her eyes at the ensuing drama. Being an ex assassin she had been trained to specifically shut down her emotions and she did it frequently. This being the case, she had little patience with those who had emotion, or in the one girl's case, complete over-emotion.
And Lokai - he somehow always managed to make her nerves twitch. She didn't dislike him, per se, it was more of a clashing of personalities. More specifically, she hated being touched and it seemed every time they were in a room together he found a way to touch her. Innocuously, of course, but the fact remained. It irked her. Moreover, what could he possible want with her after the class ended? She determined to put the matter from her mind and looked to the girls.
"Good morning," she said, setting the candy down. She didn't eat sweets, she made a mental note to save it for one of her students who had a sweet tooth. "I know that you're undoubtedly feeling the stress of your first morning in class," she refrained from mentioning Natalie's second try at this course, "But this is no excuse for letting your emotions get the better of you. Miss Levin," she directed her gaze to the second girl. "I will pardon your lack of manners this once but I'll have you know that such rudeness will not be allowed in my class. I will expect you to devote yourself to your work and to train yourself to control your emotions as well as you do your powers. Miss Kent," she looked to the other girl. "You may take the underwear off your head," amusement seeped into her voice and she allowed a hint of a smile. "And put the remainder of your things back in your bag. I apologize for Mr. Dangerfield's lack of tact, he's a man after all, we can't expect anything more from him." She decided it was better to interject some humor into the situation than to start the day off with a horde of agitated students.

||Just so you know, it's not really a class. Quite literally, it's just like military basic training.||
Tali nodded solemnly and pressed her hands into her pockets again. Only a minute or two after entering the building, she was already in trouble. That wasn't good. "Yes, ma'am," she muttered to her boots, and started peeling layers of skin off of her lower lip with her teeth, as she tended to do when she was nervous. When she told Natalie to put her things back into her bag, Tali couldn't help speaking up. "But ma'am," she muttered, risking a glance upwards. "With all due respect, we aren't allowed bags or personal belongings here. Everyone knows that." She hadn't meant to say the last sentence, but it just popped out, and she started biting her lip again, silently praying that she wouldn't get into even more trouble for her comment.
