Rebecca fumbled in the darkness for several seconds before she found the light switch in her new room. When finally the lights flickered on she wasn't all that surprised by what she saw. Two beds, two dressers, two desks and a dressing table...typical dorm room. The only difference was, since new agents rarely came prepared, the basic commodities that had been provided. There were sheets and a pillow on the bed, new toothbrushes, toothpaste and hair brushes on the dressing table...everything that a new occupant needed to get along.
Flopping down on her bed, Becky was instantly shocked at how wonderfully soft it was. Guardian Dorm beds weren't the world's finest, yet after three months of sleeping on basic training cots and then two weeks of crashing on the ground during survival training, these mattresses were simply heaven.
A thought tugged at the back of her mind, reminding her that the few personal belongings she owned were still in storage. Briefly she opened one eye, and even made a valiant attempt to sit up, but soon she found herself sucked back into the soft, squishy goodness. "Stuff can wait," she murmurred, "As far as I'm concerned, my day can end here."
||If any (female) Junior Agents want to be Becky's room-mate, be my guest. Also, if this isn't how the powers-that-be imagined the dorms, let me know and I'll be happy to edit my post. ||
||In response to below: That's alright, I'm not in a huge hurry to have a roomie. And sorry that I didn't see the room layout link. I checked it and fixed the dorm to match. ||
