Sorry, this has been bugging me ever since I read the plot. How do you pronounce "Ukwtakun"? I've got several theories on the subject and think it's a positively awesome name, but every time I read it I end up stumbling and wondering how *do* you pronounce that?
Thanks, from the linguistically challenged!

I (Mel) think it sounds like a chicken squawking.
Yeah, I'll get Kumi to post in here. xD

If you know anything about Star Trek, it sounds like a Klingon person talking...

Eh heh heh (<-- nervous laugh) I (Kumi) honestly have no idea how to pronounce it. I had been looking over evil names for ages, and I liked the way that one sounded, er. . . looked. I know, it's terrible. I hate it when people use names no one knows how to pronounce, but I was just drawn to it (not like that doesn't sound incredibly lame).
So, I'm sorry, I don't know how to answer your question. In my head it sounds like Ook-wuh-taa-koon (I don't write pronunciation very well).
Ok, now that I have rambled on and on, I'll shut up.
And, uh, Jon? You're weird. XD

I was wondering that myself... and wondering if someone had forgotten the purpose and usage of vowels. XD Thanks for the explanation, now I won't just hear a buzzing sound in my head when I read it.
